As with all sixth forms and colleges, we have a few criteria we have to follow when deciding programmes of study for those entering The Sandon Sixth Form:

1. You meet the subject specific criteria

   (found towards the back of the prospectus)

2. You achieve a minimum of 40 points from your

   best eight GCSEs

3. You achieve a grade 4 or above in Mathematics

   and English

We understand there might be extenuating circumstances, and we may consider applications and interview students who don’t quite meet the criteria. We will do our very best to accommodate all combinations of subjects, although this cannot be guaranteed. If you start in the sixth form without a grade 4 or above in English and/or Mathematics, you will be expected to re-sit the exams to achieve at least a grade 4.

All year 11 Sandon School students will receive an email with instructions and a link to set up their application. They will be able to complete and submit their application.
