My time at The Sandon School was really valuable, especially being part of the Tech Club. Working on sound and lighting for school productions taught me a lot about the technical side as well as how to be a good team player. The staff were always helpful, and I really enjoyed getting to learn by doing.
The chances I had at The Sandon School have really shaped my career. The things I learned there, such as problem-solving, time management, and working well under pressure, are things I use all the time in my studies and work. I'm really thankful for the strong start Sandon gave me, both with schoolwork and as a person. -

At Sandon Sixth Form, I have had the opportunity to be part of many initiatives, such as to reading mentor programs, representing my school on open evenings and even to be head student for student voice. This has prepared me for UCAS and creating a CV. -
Joseph PSince joining The Sandon School in 2018, I have truly enjoyed my learning experience and have had the opportunity to make many new friends all while exploring new and intriguing subjects in great detail. After my GCSE’s I decided to stay on at Sandon Sixth Form to study Maths, Economics, and Chemistry, mainly due to the wide range of A-Level courses which Sandon offer and already having well established bonds with many of my subject teachers. During my time at Sandon, I have been an active member of the school community, achieving accomplishments such as performing in school drama productions, completing my Bronze DofE, and gaining experience as a math teacher during Futures Week. More recently, I became the Charity Head Student, believing it would be a rewarding and fun experience that would help enhance my CV and university application. This position has helped me gain lots of opportunities which I otherwise would not have got, including serving on an interview panel, and has elevated my role within the school community.
